Welcome
Welcome to the Waldorf School of Princeton.
As a longtime member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools, the Waldorf School of Princeton is proud to recognize the exceptional programs that are offered by our community of educational institutions in the Princeton area. As the only AWSNA-accredited Waldorf School in the Garden State, we are also proud to acknowledge our unique heritage within this community, where we have offered comprehensive holistic education since 1983. On behalf of our faculty and administration, I thank you for your interest in our school.
With more than 1,000 Waldorf Schools in 60 countries, Waldorf Education is currently one of the fastest growing independent school movements in the world. Our beautiful campus, only minutes from downtown Princeton, is a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat. This means that it is not only an ideal place for children to grow and learn, but is also safe for the plants and animals that share the land with us. Both inside and outside the classroom, stewardship is part of our way of life. We believe that our students are the world’s greatest resources, requiring our protection, deserving our cultivation, and worthy of our deepest respect. Visit the following link to learn more about the core principles that make our Waldorf school unique.
In 2019 Waldorf Education will celebrate its 100th anniversary, and there has never been a better time to find out what the Waldorf School of Princeton is all about. Explore our website, call or e-mail us, schedule a visit, or attend one of our fall events. We look forward to meeting you, and helping you and your family decide if the Waldorf School of Princeton is right for you.
Sincerely,
Pamela Shafer, Leadership Chair
