Portraits Honoring Black History Month

Updated: Apr 22, 2020

In celebration of Black History Month, our 6th, 7th and 8th Grade students created portraits of influential African Americans throughout history. Each student chose the subject of their portrait, and in addition to re-creating their image, selected a quote from that individual to accompany their drawing.

A display of the portraits can be viewed on the upper and lower floors of our Grade School building.
