We are still accepting applications for the 2019-20 year for most classes. The instructions below will guide you through the admissions process. Please note that children must be six years old by June 1 to apply for first grade, and 18 months old by June 1 to apply for the nursery or kindergarten.
Step 1: Application
Click on the TADS link below to create an account and submit an application. For the 2019 - 20 or the 2020 - 21 school year, we are pleased to announce a reduced application fee for all families. Early Childhood programs will have a $25 fee per application, and Grade School programs will have a $50 fee. There is no fee to register for the Parent-Child class.
Step 2: Admission Documents
A recommendation form must be completed by the applicant’s current teacher and a transcript must be released from the current school (if applicable). Downloadable forms and instructions regarding this process are provided in the online application. Records should not be submitted through the parents.
Step 3: Student Visit
Upon receipt of all application materials, you will be contacted by the Admissions Office to schedule a faculty “play-based” interview. Our teachers will meet with you and your child for an assessment of readiness for our programs.

Our teachers will assess your child’s readiness for our grade school classes. Following the interview, an applicant may be invited to attend class for two to three days prior to making a final decision. The class visit will give your child an impression of what it is like to be a student at the Waldorf School of Princeton. We do not schedule grade school interviews or class visits during the last week of August and the first week of school.
