An Active Alumni Community

Our alumni community includes hundreds of graduates and nongraduates, spread out all over the world! Here in Princeton, our alumni sit on the Board of Trustees and its committees, teach in our classrooms, support us with artwork, volunteer at events … they even send their own children here!

Stay in Touch

We always love to hear what you are up to, so please drop us a line and give us an update. If you haven’t already, join the WSP alumni group on Facebook. Follow us on any of our social media platforms (check out our mashup page), and don’t forget our mailing list: text NJWALDORF to 22828 to join!

Drop By Anytime

Our doors are always open, but there are a few times each year when we’d especially like to see you!

Our Alumni Family Holiday Open House is a great way to reconnect with classmates and teachers (it’s the same weekend as the Shepherds’ Play, too), network, and nosh!

We always love to see alumni at our May Fair and other community festivals!

Individual class and regional reunions happen regularly; make sure you check back for the latest announcements!

Give Back

There are so many ways to stay involved with WSP, helping other families to enjoy the same experiences you had, and build the same precious memories.

Our Board of Trustees is tasked with shaping the vision and strategic plan for the school. Alternately, the school has various committees and task forces that benefit from an alumni perspective, including those working with development, enrollment, marketing, and the high school. If you’d like to know more about what any of these commitments entail, please send a resume and letter of interest to our board chair.

Our annual Alumni Panel in January is a much anticipated event for current, former, and prospective families alike! Would you like to share with others how a Waldorf Education has helped you on life’s path so far, and answer burning questions from the audience? To be considered as a panelist, or to volunteer at any of our open house events giving tours and speaking with parents, contact Enrollment Director Diane Barlow.

May Fair is a special day for alumni! Be sure to stop by our alumni table to say hello, or volunteer to help out with your favorite activity. If you are a musician, photographer, artist, or craftsperson, additional opportunities exist. Contact mayfair@princetonwaldorf.org to find out more.

Waldorf Summer Camp is a great place to work, and many alumni return each year as counselors, CITs, or gardening assistants. For opportunities, contact summercamp@princetonwaldorf.org.

The Annual Fund is a vital source of support for our school, and our most successful campaigns are the ones when everyone in the community joins together, with gifts big and small! Consider making a gift in honor of a former teacher or classmate, or just donate your age! Our annual Phonathon is another way to support the Annual Fund; alumni love to hear from one another! Send a note to development@princetonwaldorf.org to find out more.
