Many people recognize Macrobiotics as a diet or way of eating, but few realize that Macrobiotics encompasses a whole way of living life naturally and peacefully. This lecture will provide a broad introduction to the Macrobiotic Lifestyle, including the general format of a whole foods diet, eating habits and why they are important, and tips on cultivating energy and health. You will see how some simple but fundamental tools can be added to your daily routine to lead a healthier and more balanced life.Cost: Free! Donations welcome

Minimum: 5Terri Fredericks has been studying macrobiotics under the tutelage of Denny and Susan Waxman at the Strengthening Health Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Recovering from breast cancer, Terri has discovered the healing power of eating nutritious foods prepared with loving intentions, and she wishes to share this knowledge with others. Terri was a class teacher at the Waldorf School of Princeton and finds the teachings of Rudolf Steiner synergetic with her macrobiotic practice. We are fortunate to have Terri share what she has learned in order to restore a healthful body with her approach to living.
