Board of Trustees.
Mission
To develop for Board approval a facilities program that ensures a
safe school environment and maintains and enhances the school's physical
presence - buildings, equipment, and land.
Authority & Responsibility
Supports the Facilities Coordinator in carrying out approved
programs. Tasks include identifying and prioritizing facilities needs, preparing
and managing community workdays, planning for future needs, working with budget
guidelines and giving hands-on assistance with projects when possible. It
liaises with the Safety Committee and implements their recommendations as
approved by the Board.
Guidelines for prioritizing Facilities needs: (in descending order of need)
- Matters relating to health and safety
- Pedagogical support · Maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment and
grounds
- Preventive maintenance
- Facility enhancement and planning for future needs
- Budget implications (this should be considered in all levels of priority)

Monthly as needed.

Monthly, through meeting minutes or reports.
