Board of Trustees.
Mission
To manage the implementation of building projects as mandated by the
Board and in accordance with master planning process.
Authority & Responsibility
Not a standing committee, but springs into action during major
capital improvement projects with the support of the school Administration. The
Building committee responsibilities are:
- Interfaces with the College, parent council, Administration and other
committees to arrive at timely recommendations to the Board and implements the
Board's decisions.
- Selects and recommends professional consultants and contractors for
ratification by the Board.
- Develops and oversees project delivery processes and documentation with the
help of professional consultants and contractors retained by the school.
- Executes building projects on approved budget.
- Directs the school administration, as empowered by the Board, for executing
payment requisitions, contracts and other day-to-day activities necessary for
project delivery.
- Communicates with the Development committee through the Chair.

- Reserves the right to invite attendance by paid professionals, as long as the
budget is accounted for
