about us
The Waldorf School of Princeton is a coeducational, non-sectarian school serving 265 children from early childhood through grade eight. The 20-acre campus is an old farm site near Princeton, New Jersey. With its rolling fields, old barns, woods and stream, the school retains a country atmosphere in an area that is changing from rural to heavily-populated suburban.

governance
Like most other Waldorf schools, our school is self-administered. There is no headmaster or principal. The faculty handles all matters relating to teaching and curriculum and the College of Teachers (a group of experienced faculty) carries ultimate responsibility for pedagogical and programmatic matters.

The Waldorf School of Princeton operates under the aegis of The Waldorf School Association of the Princeton Area, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation established in 1977. All parents of the school are considered members of this Association. A Board of Trustees, elected by the Association, has all legal and fiscal responsibility for the school.
